Being one of the most beautiful places of Himachal Pradesh, the Tirthan Valley in kullu is very much explored by many tourists. This valley is located nearby Tirthan river at an altitude of 1600 metres above sea level in Kullu district. Every year a large number of tourists visit this place. Tourists can easily reach the Tirthan Valley by road route from big cities like Delhi, which is 508 kms far away from here. Other near by tourist destinations include Oat, Jalori Pass and Shoja, which are about 20 to 26 kms from Tirthan valley. The nearest airport is located 48 kilometres away at Bhuntar from where one can reach Tirthan Valley by tourist bus or taxi cabs. The distance from Tirthan Valley to Chandigarh is 260 kms.
